If there is a problem with Consensus Publish, generally it could be because of one of these two reasons:
- The estimate date on My Company's Data tab is NA
- User needs to update the estimate date and then click on save
- Once saved, go to preview and try publishing the consensus again.
- The second reason, could be the dates, the estimate/update dates for the firms could be wrong.
- It could be either wrong format, or wrong date it itself. In either of the cases the consensus publish would fail
- Easiest way to confirm dates is to go on preview and click on one of the element description and check for the dates that show up on the pop-up
- Once identified, user can directly go to the concerned analyst, correct the date and save the estimate online.
- There is no need to import the file again
- Once saved, go to preview and try publishing the consensus again.
PS- Even when the consensus publish fails, the data shows up on the front-end only on snapshot. It is important for user to keep an eye on the pop-up that comes up, when the consensus is published. That is where a user can understand whether the consensus was published successfully or not.
